Pentair has now released a comprehensive Tune-Up kit to replace parts of the Rebel 2 pool cleaner that wear over time.

Please note - This kit is only suitable for the Rebel 2 Cleaner (product code - 360473-AU) and not for the original Rebel Cleaner (product code - 371693AC). Please refer to picture 2.

Hi, kit did its job, so the cleaner is back to normal. The lower rating is because the bearings that came in the kit did not match those on the original unit, so that was disappointing. Also there was a price drop after I bought mine.

Regarding the bearings, the ones included in the kit are an updated version, but they’re fully compatible and interchangeable with your original unit. As for the pricing, the kit hasn’t been on sale recently, so the difference you noticed might be due to shipping costs or regional pricing differences.
